This isn’t the first time I’ve thought about changing therapist. Along the way I’ve considered this before. Here I outline some of the thinking I have done regarding my reasons for changing or ending a therapy relationship.
I am a listener. If I can get away with saying as little as possible, I will. This is partially due to anxiety and depression playing tricks on me – a belief that my voice sounds awful, and the things I have to say are of interest to no one except myself.
