About The Event

"Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time.", Jim Rohn

What’s your relationship like with money in the therapeutic space?

How much the clients’ disordered money-behaviours impact your own relationship with money?

How do you support yourself when you experience a client unable to pay, delays paying or questions your fees?

Money can be one of the biggest sources of internal and interpersonal conflict and a struggle for therapists.

Navigating the topic of money is a common, challenging dynamic that is rarely discussed due to the many implicit messages in our own stories. Many therapists blanche openly at discussing this topic, perhaps fearing their values will be measured. In this workshop, practitioners will pool together and share their experiences and understanding of money.

The workshop will help pratictioners to identify their value in terms of money.

Your Trainers:

Giovanni and Sam will facilitate and share their knowledge and experience by creating an experiential learning environment for practitioners to discuss limitations. There will be opportunities to consider some of the challenging dynamics when we think of silence, and practitioners will be encouraged to contribute and share their meaning around it.

Join Giovanni and Sam to explore the many angles of interventions in the therapeutic space.

Giovanni is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and an Integrative-Relational Psychotherapist, Lecturer in Psychotherapy at Regent's University, and has extensive experience working with "difficult presentation" in institutions and in private practice.

Sam is a Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor, the founder and lead therapist of Samantha Carbon and Baker Street Therapy, - a Central London based practice with a multi-cultural and diverse range of experienced therapists practicing from there.
