About The Event

It’s vital that therapists are experienced and competent in working with emotionally, physically or sexually abusive relationships.

In this workshop, led by experienced Relationship and Psychosexual Therapists, Keeley Mardon and Diane Hassall, you will not only learn how to recognise underlying/ongoing toxicity and abuse in relationships, you will also explore your own competence for working with abuse, as opposed to working with toxicity and relationships in crisis.

In doing so, you will know which relationships you are able to work with and when to refer on.

A key focus will also be on your role as therapist and how to manage working with toxicity and abuse, maintaining therapeutic boundaries and self-care.
