About The Event

Windy Dryden on Anger plus Live CBT Sessions.

At this event Professor Windy Dryden will present a seminar on anger. This will be followed by some live sessions with volunteers.

Windy will talk about:

• When does anger become a problem?

• Can anger be a helpful and empowering emotion?

• What are the differences between and anger and frustration?

• What are the behaviours and action tendencies of the angry person?

• What thoughts, beliefs and worldview are aligned with anger?

• What homework assignments are useful for clients that have unhealthy anger?

City CBT Coaching College will provide a continuing professional development (CPD) letter confirming two hours of CPD.

Windy Dryden is one of the leading practitioners and trainers in the UK in the Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) tradition of psychotherapy. He is best known for his work in Rational-Emotive Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (RECBT), a leading CBT approach. He has been working in the field of counselling and psychotherapy since 1975 and was one of the first people in Britain to be trained in CBT.

He has published over 200 books and has trained therapists all over the world, in as diverse places as the UK, the USA, South Africa, Turkey and Israel. He is Emeritus Professor at Goldsmiths, University of London.

This meet up is co-hosted by Nicola Martin Msc, Nicola founded City CBT in 2012 - Cognitive Behavioural Coaching College, City CBT

Nicola has over 30 years experience of coaching individuals and training groups either in a corporate setting or on a private basis. Her focus is on achieving optimum high performance mindsets by using her cognitive behavioural coaching skills, her knowledge from neuroscience and wisdom from the ancient philosophers.
