About The Event

Infertility can have a huge impact on intimate relationships. Advances in assisted reproduction techniques mean that some people can fulfil their dream of having a child but usually at great financial, physical and emotional cost.

Sex can become clinical rather than pleasurable, and partners become often become disconnected.

Louise Magee, a former clinical embryologist within Lord Professor Robert Winston’s team at the Hammersmith Hospital, and now a Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist, will lead you in exploring how infertility and its issues can affect intimate partner relationships.

You will discover the impact of reproductive grief and loss on relationships. And you will learn how to support clients affected by infertility in reconnecting and finding joy in their relationship and pleasure in sex once more.
