About The Event
Almost all relationships are affected by ill-health at some point. Yet there is very little training for therapists in how to support those affected by common diseases and health conditions, such as cancer, heart disease and IBS, and even less support for their partners. The profound impact that disability and ill health can have on relationships will be explored and worked with in depth.
In this one-day workshop, led by Natalya Price, you will discover how ill-health can affect relationships – practically, emotionally, and sexually.
We will also explore the impact of physical disabilities on relationships and sex, both lifelong disabilities and more sudden onsets of disability or illness.
