About The Event
Training from Cardiff and Vale Well-Being
We spend a third of our lives asleep. Have you ever wondered why?
Maybe this question doesn’t feature in your top ten concerns on a daily basis or even during an existential crisis, but I’m sure you’ve experienced the detrimental effects of sleep deprivation, either voluntarily after a night out on the weekend or not, when that deadline at work is approaching so fast that you can’t procrastinate your way out of it anymore.
In any event, if you wish to learn more about sleep, why it is important and how to sleep better, this is your opportunity!
This workshop aims to:
- Debunk some of the most common sleep related myths
- Elucidate sleep’s function and importance across the age span
- Discuss the effects of sleep deprivation
- Discuss sleep hygiene measures in order to improve sleep quality
